He was shortlisted for a dadafest disability arts award 2009 and in 2011 successfully completed a major artist in residence project at the New Gallery Walsall in association with Dash - 'reclaiming the languages of lunacy'.

Sean is currently artist/mentor in residence with Celf o Gwmpas, Wales. The three images displayed here were produced as part of this residency.

His thirty poetry films have received many screenings worldwide, as well as at Tate Modern and National Film Theatre Studios in London.

Projects, exhibitions or residencies include those with Arcadea; Cesta, Czech Republic; Dada-South; Dash; Fold Gallery and Fred (annual art invasion of Cumbria); Gulbenkian Canterbury and Lit Up; Humber Mouth Festival; Interarte, Germany; Lancaster University and Lancaster Litfest; Live Art Development Agency; New Word Order; Odins Glow; Ovada; Performance Space London; Platforms 00000008/10 and 12; Shout Festival; and the Stanley Picker Gallery.
