Jo Munton

Jo Munton is a puppeteer and storyteller, sculptor and animator. She has performed internationally from Siberia to Spain, from Denmark to India. But has mostly been based in Mid Wales, working on many projects from storytelling at Bryn Cello Ddu on ynys mon to operating Giant puppets at the Millenium centre, Cardiff.

Jo Munton collaborated with spoken word artist Stephanie Finegan (OORYA [pronounced oo-r-ya] ) joining 31 d/Deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent artists taking part in the DASH award winning project: We Are Invisible We Are Visible (WAIWAV).

The artists staged Dada inspired interventions in 30 museums and galleries across Britain and Northern Ireland on 2 July 2022 only​​​​​​​, marking the 102nd anniversary of the 1st Dada International Exhibition in Berlin.
