Cultivating spaces for extraordinary artists

DASH x Delfina Foundation: Afternoon Tea

Members of the DASH team recently assembled at Delfina Foundation at their home in central London for an Afternoon Tea – a communal gathering to meet, exchange information and make connections with the Delfina creative team and the current residents on the science_technology_society thematic programme.

During the afternoon, the group discussed the importance of finding community, intersectional-thinking, the impact of focusing on process over output and how to structurally embed neuro-affirming ways of working and architectures of care within organisations, as well as the potentialities for digital technologies and AI within the landscape of mental healthcare.

Between January and March 2025, DASH worked in collaboration with Delfina Foundation in conjunction with their residency programme, science_technology_society. In addition to the Afternoon T ea, our collaboration encompassed studio visits between DASH’s Curator, Jade Foster and selected Delfina residents — Aracha Cholitgul, Micha Frazer-Carroll, and Doreen Chan, and an in-person free public talk Imagine New Landscapes for Madness with Micha Frazer-Carroll (Delfina Foundation UK Associate) and artist and activist the vacuum cleaner (James Leadbitter) is still to take place at Delfina Foundation’s home at Catherine Place in central London.
