Job: Curator

The Curator is a vital role at Ikon, supporting the Artistic Director (Exhibitions) in the research, planning, delivery and fundraising for exhibitions and public programmes.

They will lead on the conceptualisation and delivery of selected exhibitions, working with artists and guest curators on the development, selection and interpretation of artworks. In consultation with the Artistic Director (Exhibitions), they initiate exhibitions and curatorial projects spanning regional and international contemporary art, the intersection of curatorial and education practice, and that reflect the cultural diversity of Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Full-time, permanent
