Cultivating spaces for extraordinary artists

#WAIWAV

We Are Invisible We Are Visible WAIWAV took place on Saturday 2 July.

31 artists staged interventions at 30 museums and galleries across Britain and Northern Ireland.

Intervention by Sam Metz. Sam has blond, shoulder length hair and wears a black t-shirt, trousers and boots. They sit within a large tube shaped sculpture made from thin pieces of wood slotted together.

After what was an exciting, entertaining, informative and wonderful day that made history we would like to say a big big thank you to all the artists, the museums and galleries, Disability Arts Online, all of the audiences - online and in person - and of course,The Ampersand Foundation for making this ambitious project possible.

If you saw one of the interventions and picked up a copy of the zine, we'd love to hear what you thought and see any images that you took. Please email us here.
